I have already had some of the services/tests listed in your packages. Can I customize the package based on my individual needs? - Yes, we can customize any package to your needs. However, if you have had a test recently, please provide us with the results so that we can better assess your health.
Does my insurance cover these services? - In most cases, insurance does not pay for our services since they are preventive. However, we are happy to provide you with ICD-9 codes to assist you with reimbursement.
Is it necessary to stay at the La Quinta Resort during my visit to WellMax? - No, we are open to all guests. Many of our clients are local residents and still get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings the resort has to offer.
If I do stay at the hotel, can I charge my WellMax services to my room charge? - Although we are located at the resort, we have separate billing systems. We do accept most credit cards.
How long does your program take? - Depending on the extent of the program you choose, you may spend a full day, or up to four days at WellMax. We recommend that you participate in resort activities during your stay (massage, golf, tennis, etc.). This will add more enjoyment to your stay!
What should I bring to my initial appointment? - Bring all pertinent medical records, medications, supplements and appropriate attire (comfortable clothes/shoes for fitness and treadmill testing). If you were sent the questionnaires prior to your appointment, please bring them with you, completed.
Where is WellMax located at the resort? - WellMax is located on the ground floor of the Plaza. When facing the Plaza (north), we are situated in the far right corner (east), next to the Coffee Market.
Are your prices different dependent on the season? - Our prices remain the same throughout the year. However, we sometimes have limited time offers on certain services during the summer months. Please inquire about any specials. Resort room rates are much lower in the summer, so this can be an advantage for those coming for their health, not the weather.
Are all of your services located inside your clinic at the resort? - All of our services are located at the WellMax Center with the exception of CT/MRI and colonoscopy. We provide transportation to our medical partners, which are all in close proximity to the resort.
