3. WellMax is a clinic at La Quinta Resort and Club™ in California. The clinic was founded in 1997 by Daniel Cosgrove, MD, an Internal Medicine physician.

WellMax is located at the resort to provide a “destination experience” that makes getting all the tests more pleasant. Patients have the option of arriving the night before, then simply walk to the clinic from their nearby casita. (This is not “wellness light”: we offer more comprehensive medical testing and evaluation than traditional clinics. The resort is for convenience).

Dr. Cosgrove and WellMax team offer several services:

• “Executive physicals” as a one-time visit, in which extensive testing is done to screen for disease and optimize health. We provide this service to companies, but also to individuals. This resembles traditional executive physicals, but at WellMax we do more. Dr Cosgrove believes that the executive physicals offered elsewhere tend to be boilerplate and inadequate.
• Resort Packages that integrate WellMax Clinic or any of various resort amenities like Spa, Fitness Center, Golf, Tennis, or nutritious dining into an overall pleasant health experience.

• Individualized personal health care as a single visit or an ongoing relationship. 

• Special issues: WellMax is not a hormone or sex clinic, but we are competent and knowledgeable about issues of
• natural hormones and HRT;
• testosterone for men or women;
• growth hormone therapy;
• erectile dysfunction; male and female libido or sexual counseling;
• digestive problems: bloating, gas, chronic constipation or diarrhea
• stress management;
• chronic fatigue; less energy but not ill;
• osteoporosis detection and management
• insomnia; sleep disorders
